Using the series of photographs and film footage, I’d like to start collecting material that would represent American War on Terrorism. Ever since the tragic events of 9/11 New York became a sort of the Big Brother show, where everything and everybody is monitored by the surveillance system. I’d like to document ways that the government implemented its War on Terror and the ways it invades citizen’s privacy.
Empowered NYPD conducts random searches of individuals without further suspicion of criminal wrongdoing for me it constitutes a great infringement of the fundamental rights and liberties of persons living in a free society
